It is time for our 1^st Jr. High Retreat! The plan is to attend the SPARK event which is organized by the Western PA United Methodist Church’s Youth Ministry Team. It will be held at the Sheraton Station Square in Pittsburgh from February 26 to 28. There will be music, a concert at Mellon Arena with Casting Crowns and Kutless, speakers, improv comedy, games, and fun all wrapped up in a hotel stay for the weekend! Cost will be $115 for all activities including meals and a 2 night stay at the Sheraton. Last day to sign up will be February 8^th.  Scholarships are also available. A $25 deposit will be due with registration.  Grab a registration form from the registration form box in the right column of this page or get one off the announcement board outside the Rush Room and get it to OMR with your deposit money before it is too late!  Talk to OMR with questions.

Charter Oak Church welcomes our new Pastor to Senior High School Students – Dave Hendrickson. Dave has served as a missionary in Russia, a youth pastor for three years in England, and on staff at a mega church in Arizona. Dave and his wife, Janelle, have been married for 10 years this past October. They have two sons, Ben– 3 years old, and Liam – 2 years old. Dave graduated from Geneva College and has his Masters of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical School of Ministry. Please welcome the Hendrickson Family to Charter Oak Church. Charter Oak Church welcomes an old face into a new position. Josh Ricketts is our new Pastor to Junior High Students. Josh has been a volunteer and/or a paid staff member for the last five years. Josh and his wife, Karen, have been married for 5 years. They have a daughter Aryn who is two years old.
