Welcome to the webpage for the 2012 ASP Mission Trip

Update 11/30/2011

This is where we will publish information about our trip including, event dates, meeting dates, fund raising activities, and announcements. Please check here regularly for the latest updates.

If you register below we will text and email you important reminders and changes.

Appalachia Service Project, Inc. is a Christian ministry, open to all people, whose vision is to eradicate substandard housing in Central Appalachia and equip and inspire lives of Christian service.

ASP has celebrated their 42th year in 2011 and Charter Oak Church is proud to report we have participated with work teams for the last 37 years.

The 2011 trip has been scheduled for the week of July 15th, 2012.  

This year we will be serving in Logan County West Virginia area

We will be leaving the early morning of Sunday July 15th and returning the late afternoon of Saturday July 21st.

Registration has begun for the 2012 ASP mission trip, 

If you are planning on attending or would like more information please complete the form found on this page and plan on attending the Sign up meeting at 6:00pm Sunday December 4th, 2012 in Frye Memorial Chapel of the church.

Attendees and Parents are asked to complete the registration so that we can keep you informed of the activities and announcements.

Please check the calendar for various scheduled events and meetings. Regular monthly meetings have been scheduled beginning in January 2012 through June.

The 2012 trip has been scheduled for the week of July 15th, 2012.  We will be leaving the morning of Sunday July 15th and returning the afternoon of Saturday July 21st.

 

 

 
Medical Reminder

 Although not a requirement it is strongly recommended that anyone going on the ASP trip should have a recent tetanus vaccine and should also consider having vaccination against Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B.  We are often working in areas were the is poor plumbing, so protection against these is recommended.  The Hepatitis A vaccine is a two vaccine series given 6 months apart.
