You can help shape the next generation by joining one of our many student ministry adult serve teams. There are serving opportunities that fit every type of schedule. Read the descriptions below to find out how you can help make a difference in the lives of our teens.
Small Group Leaders
Small group leaders invest in the lives of the few to encourage authentic faith. SGLs commitments include meeting weekly on Sunday nights from 530pm-8pm, attending weekend worship, and engaging student's in their world. SGLs lead discussion and fosters relationship during small groups. SGLs also attend monthly SGL dinners and trainings.
The video and sound team provides technical support for student ministry. They run music, videos, and slides during Sunday nights from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. The video technician runs the slides for worship and teaching. The sound technician uses the sound board and lighting system to create a welcoming experience.
Cafe volunteers work with our Cafe Coordinator to facilitate snacks and refreshments for students. Volunteers commit to one Sunday a month from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. They will set up the cafe and tear it down when finished.
Guest services volunteers will work with our Guest Services Coordinator to provide a welcoming environment for students. These volunteers are the first faces students see when they enter the building. They help students sign in and connect new students to their small group leaders.
All volunteer positions require security clearances including State Police, FBI Fingerprinting, and Child Abuse. Volunteers are also required to complete Mandated Reporter Training.
